Unit 7
Unit 7, Pluralism, introduces some big topics of discussion for your child but each lesson comes back to the same message - what makes each individual special. We’ll learn about the unique nature of each individual and how God intentionally created each of us to be individuals. Your child will also start to think about the ways in which each person is unique whether it be their sexuality, gender, race, culture or religion.

Family Activity: Fingerprints
It’s time to bring the whole family together for this family activity to see all the unique differences your family unit has. Through the Fingerprint Exercise, your child is given the opportunity to see the differences between the people they have so much in common with, and how this dual existence of commonality and difference can exist within and without the family.

Poetry: Celebrating Holidays
A wonderful example of pluralism is in the way we celebrate our holidays. In this Music Activity, our "“Celebrating Holidays” song was created to help your child understand how special all celebrations are, regardless of its affiliation with a specific faith or non-faith, and it is yet another opportunity to jump around in the process.
